Edinburgh Gin is a nod to the days when the city of Edinburgh was a hub of Northern distilling expertise. In 1777 there were eight licensed distilleries and reputedly almost 400 illegal stills in Edinburgh and the Port of Leith.

Since mid 2014, the team have moved the entire Edinburgh Gin operation “in house” and have been distilling in the heart of Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Gin -

To taste, Edinburgh Gin has a full juniper hit complemented with heathery notes following, which is imparted by its particularly Scottish addition of heather after distillation. Tasted neat, there seems to be a lot of spiced notes coming to the fore too, giving the gin a warm finish. Its quality shines through as it still retains its smoothness all the way and makes for deliciously crisp G&T.
